Getting Started

The tap works a little differently depending on your phone. Here is exactly where to hold it.

iPhones have read NFC tags like this since the iPhone 7, and it works right through most cases.

Turn on NFC first. Look under Settings, usually Connected Devices or a Quick Settings tile. It varies by phone.
Hold the back of your phone against the band, just below the camera, where the antenna sits on most Android phones.
Your scripture opens automatically, or a small prompt appears. Just tap it to open.

Exact antenna placement varies slightly by manufacturer. If it does not read right away, slowly move the band across the back of your phone.

Good To Know

No account is required. Tap your band and read, that is the whole experience. If you would like to track your daily streak and keep it synced if you switch phones, you can optionally create a free account.
The chip itself does not store or send any personal information. It simply points your phone to today's scripture page.
Thick or metal phone cases can sometimes block the signal. If it is not reading, try removing your case.
If your phone does not respond right away, hold it still for an extra second directly over the chip.
